Stearns Family Updates

My 23rd birthday was yesterday.  I had a wonderful day spent with my son and an evening with my wonderful husband!  It was a special birthday because it was the first one in which I was a mommy.  That is still weird to say sometimes.


Tom took me ice skating and to Ted Drewes to get ice cream on Saturday for my birthay!  It was a lot of fun and the ice cream was scrum-diddliumptious...if that's not a word, I just made it one!  I am already to go back to Forest Park to ice skate again sometime soon!  The little sis has already requested that we go.


On Saturday night we returned home to Caleb and my parents who came over to babysit and take me out for a birthday lunch.  Neither Tom or I felt well, and we woke up Sunday morning both feeling very sick with sore throats and nasal congestion.  I'm not sure if the sick season is beginning or not.  I was SO worried that Caleb was going to pick it up, but so far so good.  However, I do believe he is starting to cut a tooth so we might have some "fun" days ahead of us.

We are looking forward to a lot of Christmas family gatherings and fellowship in the upcoming weeks.  I hope you all have a very blessed Tuesday!
